Jane Landau
As a trainer and a competitor for 30+ years, Jane brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to her clinics. Her résumé includes AQHA and NJQHA championships and trophy and medal wins; adult equitation and 3' hunter championships at many recognized hunter shows including Middlesex, Monmouth, Four Seasons, and Coppergate; and Grand Prix Level dressage wins under the guidance of Gunner Ostergaard, including class winner at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby, ribbon winner dressage at Devon, champion at many East Coast dressage shows, and USDF silver and bronze medal winner.
Most recently, Jane trains with Leif Sorensen of Denmark. Leif has coached the top 10 Olympic Riders and International Medal Winning Young Riders and was the winner of the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Stuttgart Germany CDI on “Rambo.” Jane's impressive training accomplishments include the training of:
- 2004 Region 1 Stateline Tack/USDF Adult Team Competition Individual Champion at the 4th Level and the Individual Champion and High Score Winner at the 1st Level
- 14 USDF gold, silver, and bronze medalists
- More than 10 USDF All-Breed Champions
- 10 GAIG/USDF Region 1 Champions
- More than 25 ESDCTA Year-End Champions from Training Level through Intermediare II
Jane was also co-trainer of the 2007 USDF National Reserve Champions in Pas De Deux and is presently coaching and training six horses up to the FEI Levels. Her passion for dressage has also led her to write an article titled “The Purpose of the Flash Noseband,” published in Dressage Today.
